Jennifer D. 5.0 star rating 4/4/2018 A brick and mortar pet store that gives back significantly to the rescue community absolutely deserves my spoiled dogs’ and cat’s allowance money! I had driven by Pet Saver a ton of times and hadn’t stopped, but when I suddenly adopted a dog from Verona Street he came along with a coupon for a free bag of food and a 50% off the entire purchase up to $200 at Pet Savers, so our second stop after Verona was the store in Pittsford. We used the generous coupon for 50% off to it’s full extent when bringing home a young dog. We didn’t have any young dog supplies and were able to get everything from crate to Kongs in one place. The sales people were amazing and made great recommendations. They recommended a brand of collars and leashes with a lifetime warranty and said that if we want a replacement we bring them back to the store and they’ll just give us new ones. I ended up getting a second set for my very old dog the following day. They are super cute and come in a variety of designs (Lupine brand). We got the wrong size crate and gate and were able to return both even though we had opened them and tried them out. There is a self-serve dog wash and a cat adoption center in the store as well, and lots of dog friends shopping with their parents too. Pet Saver donates premium dog and cat food to Lollypop Farm and ALL the pet food for Verona Street. With online competitors like Chewy it can’t be easy to make this kind of huge donation, or to give up over $100 to new pet owners. This is a company that cares about pets and our community, and I’ll be shopping there from now on. My old dog decided he only eats Blue Buffalo wet food so I’m going to see if I can just start direct depositing part of my paycheck there!
